About Yaro

Our studio located in Greenpoint Brooklyn, creates space for education and experimentation across multiple disciplines. We hold classes, lectures and events focused in ceramics, fiber arts, textiles, block printing, mycology, and herbalism—amongst other modes of creative making. 

We believe design, art, and creative expression are uniquely informed through hands-on material research. Just as important, we believe craft can facilitate a unique and meaningful dialogue around culture, community and our sense of self.

Yaro’s ethos represents creative disciplines that foster community building, equality, diversity, ecological awareness, mysticism and respect.
